This is the second edition of MISRA C++. This document supports the use of ISO/IEC 14882:2017, commonly referred to as “C++17”. The MISRA C++ Guidelines define a subset of the C++ language in which the opportunity to make mistakes is either removed or reduced. Many standards for the development of safety-related software require, or recommend, the use of a language subset, and this can also be used to develop any application with security, high integrity or high reliability requirements.
