She has participated in the Digital Methods Initiative at the University of Amsterdam (2013) and the Oxford Internet Institute’s Summer Doctoral Program (2014). Emily has published a book chapter as well as a journal article with IGI before this work. Her future research will focus on the use of digital technologies and social media platforms to influence nationalist movements occurring around the world.
