Teufel-Prida is a counselor, counselor educator, and administrator. She is a licensed professional clinical counselor in California, a licensed mental health counselor and qualified supervisors in Florida, and a national certified counselor with the National Board for Certified Counselors. She received her Ph.D. in counselor education and supervision from the University of South Florida and her M.Ed. in community counseling from Ohio University. Since beginning her career in 2000, Teufel-Prida has gained clinical experience in community mental health for children and families, juvenile justice facilities, and private practice focusing on children and families. Teufel-Prida is a nationally recognized conference presenter, researcher, and counselor educator in children's mental health.
