Chapters are in sections on negotiations for equality in contested spaces, policies on inclusion and equity, reproductive labor and economy, health and violence, and sports and bodies. A global synthesis is presented for each of the five themes, looking at general trends and prospects for change. Some specific subjects addressed include feminist perspectives among religious women in Canada, citizenship and gender in Nepal, and gender inequality in Swedish legislation of Sami reindeer herding.
