In recent years, the rising complexity of Internet of Things (IoT) systems has increased their potential vulnerabilities and introduced new cybersecurity challenges. In this context, state of the art methods and technologies for security risk assessment have prominent limitations when it comes to large scale, cyber-physical and interconnected IoT systems. Since January 2020, he joined INTRASOFT International as part of the incorporation of AIT's IoT Group in the company. He is also Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow, UK (2014-present). Dr. Soldatos is expert in IoT technologies and applications, including applications in smart cities and the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0). Dr. Soldatos has played a leading role in the successful delivery of more than sixty (commercial-industrial, R&D, and consulting) projects, for both private & public sector organizations, including some complex integrated projects.
