Estidama is an absolutely ambitious socio-political pursuit of the Oil and Petrochemicals industry leader: Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company. Advocating environment sustainability exerted by way of Professional Development: Therefore knowing the relevance and effectiveness of training is the underlying principle. Professional Development is to inculcate the mind-set change, intended to influence behaviour and thought to raise performance levels resulting revenue growth and good reputation. This study is an appraisal of the centrality of estidama as an outcome of Professional Development, using survey methodology. The work finds learning behaviour is positive with overall 86.8 percent of the workers to be agreeable and an overall 78.3 percent committed to take this training into practice. Forecast training sustainability is at 77.8 percent. There is less Lost Time Injury Rate and less Total Reportable Incident Rate. There also is less Flaring and less Gas Releases. The reported High Potential Incident or Spills reads: none. Recruitment has improved and there is better Retention. Training has exceeded the ideal People Development and ideal Manpower Capability. Although ideal Emiratisation has been achieved on the level of Core Established Positions, there is an under recruitment of UAE Nationals on the rank and file positions. Nonetheless, as emphasised in an article by Yazad Darasa, statistical phrases often describe the persuasive power of numbers, particularly to bolster weak arguments. Then this paper should be read within reason of its context.
