Description
A hernia is a condition characterized by an abnormal exit of tissue or organ through the wall of the cavity in which it resides. Groin, incisional and umbilical hernia are certain kinds of hernia. Some symptoms may be present such as discomfort while coughing or exercising, a bulge in the affected area, distress while passing stool and associated pain and tenderness.
