With 20 years experience in the media industry, she has worked in newspaper, radio, and television including work for the Los Angeles Times, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Clear Channel Communications. Dr. De Bonis is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Communication Arts in Multimedia at Georgia Southern University. In 2013 she was nominated for a Peabody Award and a Southeast Regional Emmy student production award for producing live election coverage.
