Guo was named a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers in 2013 for his contributions to the understanding of polarization phenomena in ferroelectric solid-solution systems. Allan Bruce is the editor of Optoelectronic Materials and Technology in the Information Age, published by Wiley.
