The Texas Folklore Society is one of the oldest and most prestigious organizations in the state. This book does more than present a history of the Texas Folklore Society: it explains why the TFS has lasted so long, and why it will continue. About the Author KENNETH L. UNTIEDT is the Secretary-Editor of the Texas Folklore Society and teaches English at Stephen F. Austin State University. He earned bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees from Texas Tech University. He and his wife Tierney have four children and live in Nacogdoches, Texas.
