About the Author Dr Irina L. Pervova has held academic appointments at St. Petersburg State University, Russia since 1994. She defended her second doctoral dissertation on the antisocial behavior of minors in 2000, and was promoted to the rank of Full Professor in 2006. She is the author of over 120 publications, including seven books, and edited nine volumes. She has been recognized by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation with two honorary awards for excellence in professional achievement.
