She holds a Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of Western Ontario and an Hons. B.A. in psychology from McMaster University. Dr. Obasi's research has appeared in Names: A Journal of Onomastics, Family Science Review, and Global Perspectives on Family Life Education.
