Designed to serve as a practical guide for students interested in business professions, Business and Society is ideal for undergraduate courses in business studies. Megan Matthewsearned her M.A. in community arts management from the University of Illinois, Springfield, and her B.A. in management from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She has developed courses and programs in arts management and entrepreneurship, and coordinates a course titled business and society for the College of Business & Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Jon Werner earned his Ph.D. in organizational behavior from Michigan State University. He is a professor and department chair of the Department of Management at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. His research has covered topics such as training and development, defining human resource development, team effectiveness, employee management, and performance appraisal.
