Product Description This book examines the directions in which various structures and processes of management and business are moving in South East Asia, covering Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. It aims to update previous works in the field covering management and business in these countries. It goes on to deal with a wide variety of themes and issues, functional and practice areas, sectors and organisational types. Many key sectors are also covered, such as finance, retailing, telecoms, etc. The types or organisations covered range from multinational companies to state-owned enterprises. The contributors cover current and ongoing developments of these themes, particularly in the context of globalization. About the Author Chris Rowley is a Professor at the Cass Business School at City University, London, and is Co-Editor of the journal Asia Pacific Business Review. He is also a member of the Editorial Board of Personnel Review. He has consultancy experience with unions, business enterprises and government departments. Malcolm Warner is Professor and Fellow Emeritus, Wolfson College, Cambridge and Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. He was the Editor-in-Chief, of the International Encyclopedia of Business and Management [IEBM] latest edition, 8 vols, 2002. He is currently Co-Editor of the Asia Pacific Business Review.
