This collection examines public-private partnerships (PPPs) in transitional nations from the governance perspective. It explores the structures, legal frameworks and collaborative arrangements that underpin partnerships in Europe, Asia and Africa, and highlights government decisions that facilitate the transformation of societal challenges into developmental opportunities. About the Author Dr Nikolai Mouraviev is a Senior Lecturer at Dundee Business School, Abertay University, United Kingdom. Previously he has held teaching positions at KIMEP University, Kazakhstan, Wayne State University, United States, and Viterbo University, United States. His research focuses upon public-private partnership management in Kazakhstan and Russia and he has published extensively in this area. He is a member of the Board of Directors of a railroad company that was the first public-private partnership in Kazakhstan. Nada Kakabadse is a Professor of Policy, Governance and Ethics at Henley Business School, University of Reading, United Kingdom. She has co-authored 23 books and has published over 196 scholarly articles and 90 book chapters. She is an elected member of the European Academy of Science and Arts and a consultant to numerous global corporations, non-governmental organizations and governments.
