About the Author Edward Shizha has a PhD in sociology of education from the University of Alberta and is an associate professor at Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada. He has published eleven books and several chapters and articles. Rosemary Kimani-Dupuis is a PhD candidate at Wilfrid Laurier University, while Priscilla Broni recently completed her MA in cultural analysis and social theory at Wilfrid Laurier University.
