About the Author Gonçalo Matias is the Vice Dean and Professor of Law at the Catolica School of Law where he obtained a PhD in law. He lectures on public law and published several articles and books on international migration and citizenship law. He was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the Georgetown University Law Centre. He was Director at the Migration’s Observatory.
