About the Author Lorraine Lim is a Lecturer in Arts Management at Birkbeck, University of London, UK. Her primary research interests lie in investigating new and current strategies utilised by cities in Asia to transform themselves into capitals of culture. Her current research projects include labour conditions in the arts and cultural sector.
