About the Author Bo Honoré is Class of 1913 Professor of Political Economy and Professor of Economics at Princeton University, New Jersey. He is Director of the Gregory C. Chow Econometric Research Program at Princeton University, and was formerly a member of the Board of Trustees of the Danish National Research Foundation. Honoré is a Fellow of the Econometric Society and conducts research in econometrics.Ariel Pakes is the Thomas Professor of Economics at Harvard University, Massachusetts. His research has been in industrial organisation, the economics of technological change, and in econometric theory.
