This book offers a rare behind the scenes look at England's biggest and smallest funfairs; Showman family lives travelling during the season and in the "yards," their winter quarters; the coastal Showman; the parties; the tamer fights and much more. With family trees and over 270 photos, it proves to be a fascinating read. Part 2 will follow with more family trees and fairground photos. Robert will kindly donate his proceeds from this book to charities including the Showman's Children's Charity, the Showman's Mental Health Charity and to Cancer Research.
