Stevens is Professor of Psychology at Illinois State University and a licensed clinical psychologist. President Elect of the APA's Division of International Psychology, Professor Stevens has published over 80 articles and book chapters on the globalizing of psychology and the psychology of terrorism. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Uwe P. Gielen is Professor and Executive Director of the Institute for International and Cross-Cultural Psychology at Saint Francis College. Former President of the Society for Cross-Cultural Research, Professor Gielen is the editor or co-editor of 17 books on cross-cultural and international psychology. He received his Ph.D. in social psychology from Harvard University.
