The book covers the long-standing areas of discrimination law, such as sex, race and equal pay. It also covers more recent discrimination law, including disability and law relating to the family, as well as those measures which result from the Equal Treatment in Employment Directive such as discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation and religion or belief. Future initiatives on age discrimination in employment are also considered.
