About the Author Caroline T.W. Chan is a lecturer in the City University of Hong Kong, teaching sub-degree students in the Architectural, Engineering and Construction (AEC) programmes. Caroline is a qualified Quantity Surveyor and, before joining academia, she practised in large Quantity Surveryor consultancy firms and large contractors in Hong Kong.
