He is an active researcher and academician. He is engaged in consultancy services for govt organizations and smart city projects. Also, he is reviewer for many reputed journals in elsevier, IEEE etc. He has also trained and interviewed the engineering college students for placement training & counselling. He has conducted many ISTE workshops in association with IIT Bombay and IIT Kharagpur. He is also coordinator for IIRS (Indian Institute of Remote Sensing) eoutreach programme. He has delivered guest lectures in many seminars / conferences in reputed engineering colleges. G. Sakthinathan, is serving as Associate Professor, Department of Manufacturing Engineering, College of Engineering Guindy Campus, Chennai, India. Further he is also engaged in consultancy services for govt organizations and smart city projects. He is a reviewer for many reputed journals. He has conducted trainings in many upcoming technologies for the benefit of academicians, researchers and students. He has also delivered many motivational lectures for the graduates and school going students. He has been recognized with many awards and appreciations by the government and private organizations for his technological contributions to various societal problems. He has also involved in developing solutions for the welfare of the society and students community. He is in different advisory boards for colleges and organizations.
