About the Author Dr. Thomas P. Fuller is a Professor in the Occupational Safety and Health Program at Illinois State University. He has a Doctor of Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in Industrial Hygiene, a Master of Science in Public Health from The University of North Carolina, a Master of Business Administration from Suffolk University. He is a Certified Industrial Hygienists, a Certified Safety Professional, and a Fellow of the American Industrial Hygiene Association. Dr. Fuller is the current President of the International Occupational Hygiene Association (IOHA), and Chair of the IOHA Education Committee. He is a past Chair of the AIHA International Affairs Committee (IAC) and is currently Chair of the IAC Emerging Economy Microgrant Subcommittee. Dr. Fuller is a Contributing Editor for the American Journal of Nursing, a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the National Safety Council, and a member of the Editorial Advisory Panel of the journal of Occupational Hygiene Southern Africa. As a member of the International Commission on Occupational Health he serves on the Industrial Hygiene Committee and the Working Group on Infectious Occupational Agents. He is also a Board member of the Occupational Hygiene Training Association.
