About the Author Bruce R. Brodie received his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. He worked for 20 years at a secure residential treatment center for delinquent adolescents. He was adjunct faculty at the California School for Professional Psychology for 20 years and has been affiliated with the Saturday Center for Psychotherapy and Training for 35 years. He is currently in private practice in Santa Monica, CA. He is the author of Adolescence and Delinquency: An Object Relations Theory Approach.
