About the Author Stuart Isaacs is a senior lecturer in the social sciences at the University of West London. He is the contributing editor of European Social Problems (2017) and Social Problems in the UK: An Introduction (2015). He is also co-author of Contemporary Political Theorists in Context (2009) and Political Theorists in Context (2004), as well as the sole author of The Politics and Philosophy of Michael Oakeshott (2006), all published by Routledge. His research interests are in political and social theory.
