His research and teaching interests focus on global governance and foreign policy decision-making. His most recent published works include editing Innovation in Multilateralism (1998) and The Future of Multilateralism: The Political and Social Framework (1998). He is also the author of the Historical Dictionary of International Organizations (1998).
