About the Author Jacek Lubecki holds a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Denver Graduate School of International Studies. He is an associate professor at Georgia Southern University, where he teaches and researches in the fields of comparative politics and military security studies. Dr. Lubecki's research has been published in journals such as Europe-Asia Studies, East European Politics and Societies, The Polish Review, and The New Ukraine.
