About the Author Hafiz M N Iqbal is a Research Professor in the School of Engineering and Sciences at the Tecnologico de Monterrey, Mexico. His areas 0f research are biomaterials, bioengineering, biomedical engineering, environmental engineering, bioremediation, bio-catalysis, enzymes, immobilization, chemical engineering, green chemistry, algal biotechnology, and bioenergy. Dr. Muhammad Bilal is an Associate Professor in the School of Life Science and Food Engineering, Huaiyin Institute of Technology, Huaian, China. He completed his Ph.D. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a specialization in Bioengineering. He has published more than 300 scientific contributions in the form of research, reviews, book chapters, and scientific articles in various areas of science and engineering, with more than 8600 citations. He has guest-edited two special issues and serves as a scientific reviewer for numerous peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Bilal has a collaborative network with national and international institutes/universities across the globe. He is a member of The Chemical Society of Pakistan, Pakistan Medical Laboratory Association, and Member of the Agrarian Society of the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. His research interests include environmental biotechnology/engineering, nanotechnology, bio-catalysis, enzyme engineering, immobilization, chemical modifications and industrial applications of microbial enzymes, bioremediation of hazardous and emerging pollutants, liquid and solid waste management, and valorization of agro-industrial wastes and biomaterials for bioenergy. Tuan Anh Nguyen is a Principal Research Scientist, at the Institute for Tropical Technology, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, Hanoi, Vietnam.
