About the Author Dr. Pardeep Singh is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Environmental Science, PGDAV College, University of Delhi, in New Delhi, India. He obtained his PhD at the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) Varanasi. Dr. Singh has published more than 65 papers in international journals in the fields of waste management, environmental pollution, and agricultural nanotechnology, and has co-edited 30 books. Dr. Paromita is working as an Associate Professor in Environmental Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, India. She has published 51 research papers and 10 book chapter in field of persistent organic pollutants in water, etc. Her research interest includes: Multi-media movement of organic pollutants viz., pesticides, industrial chemicals and plasticizers in the hotspots of Indian cities, Long Range Atmospheric Transport of persistent organic pollutants. Interdisciplinary researcher with solid skills and experience in environmental pollution and natural resources management, sustainable development, human biomonitoring, and health risk assessment. Spearheaded projects in internationally diverse teams. Capable of taking initiatives that result in significant project costs saving and enhanced efficiency. Led multilateral projects, resulting in 12 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact international journals and delivered talks at various international forums.
