He received his Doctoral degree in Organic Chemistry in Department of Chemistry, Durban University of Technology in collaboration with Department of Medical Biochemistry, University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2014. He completed his Master’s degree in organic chemistry from Bharathiyar University, India and Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Madurai Kamaraj University, India. He was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Durban University of Technology, South Africa from November 2014 to November 2016. He has published many scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals and has authored many book chapters as well as review articles. He was recognised for his contributions and received awards from national and international organizations. Thereafter, He did a Post-Doctoral Research fellowship focusing his research on Nano-biomaterials & their Biomedical Applications (2011-2012). Prior to postdoc, he worked as an Assistant Professor (SG), SRM University, and Department of Biotechnology for six Years, from 2005 -2011.
