Her work is at the forefront of new measurement techniques, particularly in the realm of deriving quantitative information from lidar measurements. She has been teaching micrometeorology courses for 8 years at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Alexandria McCombs is an assistant professor of geography at Salisbury University, with a specialization in quantitative methods for synthesizing boundary layer observations from satellite, surface, and flux footprints at the micro- and meso- spatial and temporal scales.
