Intended for physical chemists, chemical engineers, and material scientists, the book will also appeal to environmental scientists and pharmaceutical scientists, as well as upper undergraduate and graduate students. Y.N. Sudhakar, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College (Autonomous). He received his doctorate in electrochemistry from Manipal University. He currently has 25 publications highlighting the study of biodegradable polymer electrolytes for supercapacitor and a book Electrochemical Capacitor (2015). His current interest includes the developing nanomaterials for energy devices. M. Selvakumar, PhD, is Associate Professor in the Dept. of Chemistry at Manipal University in Manipal, Karnataka, India. Dr. M. Selvakumar has 10 years of experience as an instructor and 17 years of research experience with a focus on sustainable energy material, polymer electrolytes, carbon-catalyst composite based electrode materials for supercapacitors and hydrogen evolution reaction. He has published 40 papers and filled one patent. He has also written book in electrochemical capacitor (Real guide for young researchers) in lambert academic publishing group. He also successfully completed a few govt. funded projects. Two students have been awarded Ph.D. under his guidance and presently two students are working. D. Krishna Bhat, PhD, is Professor in the Dept. of Chemistry at NITK University in Surathkal, Mangalore, India. Dr. Bhat has 24 years of teaching and research experience. His major areas of research interest are electrochemistry, solution chemistry and nanomaterials for energy and environmental applications, and he has authored 80 journal articles on these topics and has filled one patent. He has successfully completed many govt. funded projects and guided seven students for their PhD. and a good number of post graduate students for their PG project.
