About the Author Donald H. Sanders, Educational Consultant, Fort Worth, Texas Donald H. Sanders is the author of eight books about computers and statistics. Over 20 editions of these texts have been published in English, and several have been released in French, German, Spanish, Chinese, and other languages. Well over a million copies of these books have been used in college courses and in industry and government training programs. Dr. Sanders has 20 years of teaching experience. After receiving degrees from Texas A & M University and the University of Arkansas, he was a professor at the University of Texas at Arlington and at Memphis State University. He was a tenured full professor at Texas Christian University for 14 years. Smidt earned a B.S. in mathematics from Manhattan College, an M.S. in statistics from Rutgers University, and a Ph.D. in statistics from the University of Wyoming. Dr. Smidt has taught at the University of Florida, University of Wyoming, Rutgers University, Oregon State University, Cuesta College, Fashion Institute of Technology, for LaVerne College at Vandenberg AFB, for Chapman College at the California Mens Colony, and for the Continuing Education Institute.
