Description

Experience the sophisticated sounds of jazz guitarist Anthony Wilson with the Our Gang vinyl release. This double 180gm vinyl LP pressing delivers high-quality audio from one of the most brilliant musicians in the US jazz scene. As the son of big band maestro Gerald Wilson and a recipient of the IAJE's Gil Evans Fellowship Award, Anthony Wilson brings a rich and fluid style to this collection. This album features a pared down guitar trio structure including organ and drums, offering a different perspective from his previous recordings with larger groups. Listeners will find seductive references to legends like Wes Montgomery and Kenny Burrell throughout the tracks. Released on the Groove Note label, this vinyl set is a must-have for collectors of fine jazz guitar and smooth, easy going melodies.
