Description

The Yamaha DXR8 MkII combines 1100W of amplified power with a 1.75-inch neodymium treble unit to deliver professional-grade sound pressure level performance in a lightweight package. Built on decades of DXR series innovation, this active loudspeaker merges raw output capability with superior clarity and musicality, making it ideal for live sound applications, venues, and stage deployments where dependable high-volume reinforcement matters. The larger treble driver and advanced amplification ensure voices and instruments cut through with exceptional definition, whilst the reduced weight compared to previous iterations simplifies transport and setup without compromising output quality or tonal character.

Key Features

The Yamaha DXR8 MkII delivers 1100W of built-in amplification, eliminating the need for external power amplifiers on most applications.

Features a 1.75-inch neodymium treble unit that provides enhanced clarity and presence for vocals and instruments across mid to high frequencies.

8-inch woofer configuration supports full-range sound reproduction with balanced low-end response suitable for general PA and live event use.

Lightweight construction in this active speaker model reduces physical strain during transport and installation compared to earlier DXR series versions.

Yamaha engineering integrates efficient speaker design with amplifier output for maximum sound pressure level performance in compact powered cabinets.
