Description

The Vertex Effects T Drive is a high-performance overdrive pedal designed to recreate the legendary sound of a Trainwreck Express amplifier. Rooted in the British amplifier traditions of the 1960s and 1970s, this stompbox captures the fast pick response and exceptional dynamics that make these amps famous. To ensure sonic accuracy, the T Drive was developed using a real Trainwreck Express for direct comparison and guided by feedback from longtime owners. The result is a pedal that delivers a massive range of tones, from chimey Vox-style cleans to soaring Plexi-style overdrive. Whether you need subtle grit or heavy saturation, the T Drive responds to your touch with ultra-sensitive pick attack, making it a versatile tool for any guitarist seeking authentic harmonic complexity.

Key Features

The T Drive provides superior dynamics that transition seamlessly from chimey Vox-style cleans to soaring Plexi-style overdrive.

Developed alongside a real Trainwreck amplifier to ensure the most accurate recreation of harmonic complexity possible.

Experience ultra-sensitive pick attack and response that mimics the feel of classic British amplifiers.

This overdrive pedal features a True Bypass design to maintain your signal integrity when the effect is off.

Each T Drive unit is assembled in California to meet high quality standards for professional musicians.

The pedal operates on 9-18VDC centre-negative power, providing flexibility for your pedalboard setup (adapter not included).
