Description

Experience the raw power of Venom with this official vinyl reissue of Prime Evil. Originally released in 1989, this record captures a unique era for the band following the departure of lead singer and bassist Cronos. For these recordings, Tony 'The Demolition Man' Dolan took over, maintaining the heavy intensity that fans demand. Formed in 1978 in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, Venom blazed a trail for a hybrid form of punk and metal. Their overtly Satanic image is credited with starting the Black Metal genre and heavily influenced the thrash and speed metal scenes. This Clear Black Marble Vinyl Edition is a must-have for collectors and fans seeking a harder, faster fix of metal history.
