UrgoStart Contact Dressing 7x5cm is a flexible contact layer infused with TLC-NOSF technology, a patented combination of lipid-colloid and nano-oligo saccharide factor. When the dressing contacts wound exudate, it transforms into a protective gel that maintains optimal moisture for wound healing. This moist environment enables fibroblasts, keratinocytes and macrophages to function effectively during tissue repair. The TLC-NOSF formulation actively neutralises excess matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) activity, which typically causes continuous degradation in chronic wounds. The dressing provides protection to periwound skin, prevents maceration and supports the natural healing process.
