Description

Experience a rare piece of music history with Cheaper Than Cheep by UMC. This release features the unreleased 1974 made-for-TV concert movie recorded at The Mothers' private rehearsal hall. During the early 1970s, television served as a primary way for musical artists to reach fans in their homes. To capture this, Frank Zappa brought his full touring light show and stage setup into the rehearsal space, aiming to create a professional production for major networks. While technical issues originally caused this footage to be shelved and stored away, this release brings the performance to life. The production includes the concert movie in Dolby Atmos along with the accompanying soundtrack. This is a unique opportunity to view a lost moment of musical history, presented with high-quality audio that honors the original intent of the performance. Perfect for collectors of rock music and fans of Frank Zappa's legendary stage presence.
