Description

The Thomastik-Infeld Plectrum Bronze AC112 is a premium 6-string set engineered for acoustic guitars seeking warm, balanced tone with classical character. This set features a sophisticated blend of brass-plated steel treble strings, a bronze flatwound G-string, and bronze roundwound bass strings (gauges .012 .015 .024 .033 .044 .059) that work together to produce precise overtones and rich harmonic response. The silk inlay woven throughout the wound strings reduces harshness while enhancing tonal complexity, making these strings ideal for fingerpicking, jazz, folk, and solo accompaniments. Medium brightness and exceptional playability make the AC112 a choice for players who prioritise sound balance, durability, and the subtle resonance of a classical aesthetic applied to acoustic performance.

Key Features

The AC112 6-string set includes gauges .012 .015 .024 .033 .044 .059, specifically sized to deliver balanced response across the entire acoustic guitar neck.

Brass-plated plain steel treble strings combine with bronze flatwound and roundwound bass strings to create a warm, balanced tone with classical character.

Silk inlay in all wound strings produces precise, overtone-rich sound that enhances fingerpicking and jazz techniques.

The bronze flatwound G-string provides smooth playability and reduced finger noise for refined acoustic performance.

Medium brightness and low tension design make the Thomastik-Infeld AC112 responsive for both rhythmic accompaniment and expressive solo work.
