Description

Experience the global standard in violin strings with the Thomastik-Infeld Dominant 135W set. Designed for 4/4 violins, these strings are a trusted choice for students, teachers, orchestral players, and soloists alike. The multi-strand synthetic core provides a warm, balanced tonal character that mimics the richness of traditional gut strings while offering modern reliability. These strings are engineered for musicians who need consistent performance. The synthetic construction ensures high tuning stability and makes them less sensitive to changes in temperature and humidity compared to gut alternatives. With a light tension of 18.8kg (41.5lbs), they provide a quick response and clear projection, allowing your instrument to shine in any setting. Whether you are practicing in a classroom or performing on stage, the Dominant series delivers a harmonious overtone spectrum and a soft, overtone-rich sound that meets the highest professional standards.
