Description

Build an accurate 1/700 scale replica of HMS Rodney, the iconic British battleship commissioned in 1927. This Tamiya plastic model kit captures the vessel's distinctive forward-mounted armament of nine 16-inch guns arranged in triple turrets, complemented by twelve 6-inch guns in twin turrets, six 4.7-inch anti-aircraft guns, and eight 2-pounder pom-poms. The Rodney was uniquely equipped with two submerged 24.5-inch torpedo tubes, a feature shared only with her sister ship Nelson within the Royal Navy. The completed model measures 12.3 inches in length, making it an ideal display piece for naval history enthusiasts and scale modellers. Each kit includes a detailed nameplate for authentic presentation and comes with comprehensive assembly instructions.
