This Starrett S579HZ set includes six telescoping gauges that measure from 5/16 to 6 inches for versatile application.
Two spring-tensioned telescoping plungers provide constant spring tension and uniform contact pressure during measurement.
The self-centering handles are rigidly attached to the contact plungers to ensure automatic centering in holes and slots.
Each gauge features a lock at the end of the handle to secure the width at any desired setting.
The set includes five handles measuring 2-3/8 inches and one handle measuring 3-1/4 inches in length.
Designed for precision in woodworking, metalworking, machining, layout, and pattern-making applications.
