Description
The Somfy 2400961 Solar Module offers an energy-efficient alternative to mains power for gate and garage door motors in locations where a 230V supply is unavailable or impractical. This solar power kit combines a photovoltaic panel with an integrated charger and battery system, delivering equivalent performance to conventional 230V powered solutions. The system is compatible with EVOLVIA, EXAVIA and SLIDYMOOVE engines, as well as SGA, SGS and GDK motors manufactured from mid-2009 onwards. By harnessing solar energy, this module eliminates ongoing electricity costs whilst maintaining full operational capability for automated gate and door control, making it an economical choice for remote properties or off-grid installations.

Key Features

The Somfy 2400961 replaces a 230V mains power supply, enabling gate and garage door automation without conventional electrical infrastructure.

Compatible with EVOLVIA, EXAVIA and SLIDYMOOVE engines, plus SGA, SGS and GDK motors purchased from mid-2009 or November 2009 onwards.

Photovoltaic panel charges integrated batteries that power RTS motors with the same output as a standard 230V connection.

Powered exclusively by solar energy, reducing operating costs and providing an economical solution for remote gate and door automation.

Battery and charger system included in the kit for complete off-grid motor operation.
