Description

The Shure BETA 27 is a professional side-address condenser microphone designed for high-performance instrument and vocal applications. Whether you are recording in a studio or performing on stage, this microphone provides natural reproduction thanks to its flat, neutral frequency response. The supercardioid polar pattern focuses on your sound source while minimizing bleed from off-axis noise, making it ideal for controlled recording environments. Engineered for precision, the BETA 27 features a 1-inch externally-biased, ultra-thin 24 Karat gold-layered Mylar diaphragm that delivers superior transient response. For versatile control, it includes a 3-position switchable low-frequency filter to reduce background noise or manage the proximity effect. Additionally, a switchable -15 dB attenuator allows you to handle extremely high SPLs with ease, ensuring clean audio for even the loudest sound sources.
