Secretly Canadian - Music For Egon Schiele CD

Experience a unique moment in the discography of Rachel's Rule with Music For Egon Schiele. Originally composed as live accompaniment for a 1995 theater-dance production centered on the life of painter Egon Schiele, this suite represents a departure from the group's typical three-person ensemble. Written entirely by Rachel Grimes, the music features a spellbinding performance by Grimes on piano, Christian Frederickson on viola, and cellist Wendy Doyle. Released under the Secretly Canadian label and manufactured by Quarter Stick, this release is a standout for fans of indie and alternative post-rock. The album is presented with beautiful letter-pressed packaging, making it a special addition to any collection of new-music and classical-inspired compositions.
