Science Fell In Love follows university researchers Ayame Himuro and Shinya Yukimura as they embark on an unconventional investigation into love itself. When Himuro confesses her feelings, Yukimura proposes a bold hypothesis: can love be quantified and proven through scientific methodology? Their experiment begins with measuring heartbeats and counting longing glances, promising initial results that seem to validate their theory. However, the carefully controlled laboratory conditions take an unexpected turn when they enlist classmate Kanade Kotonoha as a control variable to test their romantic scenarios. As they recreate scenes from manga and conduct their peculiar trials, the data becomes increasingly ambiguous, leading to surprising discoveries about the nature of emotion and human connection. This anime blends comedy, romance, and academic humour as the characters discover that matters of the heart may be far more complex than any formula can capture.
