Routledge Russia's Fate Through Russian Eyes - Post-Soviet Generation Voices

Russia's Fate Through Russian Eyes presents authentic narratives from Russia's first post-Soviet generation of leaders, offering intimate insights into the nation's transformation since the collapse of the Soviet Union. These voices recount personal experiences alongside five critical challenges shaping Russia's future: restructuring the state apparatus, navigating new economic frameworks, establishing the rule of law, developing civil society institutions, and sustaining national culture and educational systems. The contributors balance deep patriotism with clear-eyed understanding of their country's complexities, providing Western readers with rare access to how educated Russian leaders view their nation's path forward. Published by Routledge, this collection bridges cultural and political divides through direct testimonies that reveal both hopes and fears of those steering Russia through profound change.
